Where does the name Helti come from? It’s a fusion of “healthy” and “Switi” (which means “tasty” in Surinamese). A country next to Brasil in South America.
My name is Marcel Pinas. The proud founder of Helti and my story originates from the loving and flavorful kitchen of my mother.
Helti started in 2017 as the restaurant Mr Salad in the heart of Rotterdam. Serving as a healthy hotspot. During this time, we developed our recipes, including our renowned brownie and banana bread. In 2023 we made the transition from restaurant to brand. Why? Our mission has always been:

and from now on we’re going to carry out that mission even more!
What is our mission? We are very clear about that. Walking in supermarkets you will see an abundance of processed foods. Our products are minimally to none processed at all, using the purest possible ingredients. Your health is our top priority, not maximizing profit, without forgetting about the fun and tasty part.

Our Packaging
At Helti, we closely monitor the packaging market to embrace better and sustainable packaging solutions, because there’s always room for improvement. We avoid using plastic if possible. Sometimes it’s unavoidable to ensure freshness. And freshness, quality and taste is key!
Our Ingredients
We eliminate all unnecessary ingredients from our products. So, no artificial E-numbers or substances whose scientific names nobody knows or what they do in your body. Our products are as natural as possible. Back to the source of food. As food was intended.
Our products are nut, gluten- and dairy free and without refined sugars.We will never use honey. As an alternative we use Agave in our products. Just as delicious and completely plant-based.
Contribution to society
Healthier eating begins with education. That’s why we provide weekly information via our blog about better food consumption and a higher quality of life. Additionally we donate to food banks and organizations such as KWF.
